Encourage with the Truth of God’s Word

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Everyone needs encouragement, we all at some point or another grow weary and tried. Often times our prayer life and daily time with God and His Word is affected. We start our days off with a repetitive prayer and go through the day hoping for good luck and hiding in fear from the bad luck. We loose sight of who God is and who we are in Christ, and just get caught up in the world of trying to make it on our own. Praise God for those brothers/sisters in Christ who take time to encourage us; and remind us that we serve a mighty God! There is nothing that we have or will go through that Jesus hasn’t already been tempted by. God promises in His Word that temptation may come, but He has a way to escape it, (1Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.) We all face struggles, trails, temptations and tribulations, but be of good cheer, Jesus has overcome and so will we, (John 16:33.) God’s Word is full of encouragement in through prayer, His presence and His Word daily we should seek that encouragement for ourselves and others, (Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.) God’s Word is always the voice of truth and best encourager!

Heavenly Father thank You for daily encouragement from Your Word. I praise You that not only can I seek Your heart daily, but as well in times of troubles. I pray that when another brother/sister is struggling I will encourage them through and to Your Word, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
