No Giant can Stand against Our Mighty God
Numbers 13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

There is a reason why Caleb and Joshua were the only two from their generation that went into the promise land with the children of the new generation. God told Moses that He nor the generation He brought from Egypt would ever set foot in the promise land; that their children along with Caleb and Joshua only would, (Numbers 14:26-38). Why? Because of their unbelief, murmuring and complaining against God. When Moses sent out scouts to scout out the promise land, Caleb came back energized and ready to take on the giants; because He knew God was with them and they would win, (Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?) The other scouts came back with defeated already in their hearts, causing an uproar among the Israelites against Moses and Aaron for taking them from their comfort zone of Egypt, and accusing God for the death of their wives and children in the wilderness, (Numbers 13:32-14:4). When we look at our battles with a heart like Caleb we come to realize the battle has done been won by our Savior, Jesus Christ on the cross. Defeat takes us hostage when we or looking at the size of our trial and not the size of our God, causing us to remain wondering in the wilderness. Stand before your giant (trial) like David did with Goliath; knowing that it is not the stone that knocks the giant down, it is your faith in God and that the battle has already been won in the shadow of the cross.

Most gracious Heavenly Father I praise You Lord that I never have to face any battles or giants alone. You are always with me and for me and through each trial I grow stronger in my faith. I praise You Jesus that Your ultimate sacrifice on the cross is my victory in every battle I face. I pray to have a heart like Caleb and David knowing that it is not I but You Lord that takes down the giants on my path, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
