Love One Another
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Be kind to fellow brothers and sister in Christ, (Ephesians 4:32.) We are all fighting a spiritual battle,(Ephesians 6:12.) Each of us are carrying around baggage on our backs weighing us down. We have grown weary, we have become discouraged and our adversary, Satan is front in center throwing fiery darts at us. The one thing we believers lack for each other is encouragement. We are right beside the devil throwing punches at each other, like Jobs friends. Jesus’ ministry was not only to healed the sick, the blind, the deaf and to cast out devils. His greatest ministry was His love for those who followed after Him. Jesus said, they will know you are my disciples by the way you love one another, (John 13:35.) Even though Peter denied Jesus three times, (Matthew 26:75.) Jesus still loved Peter and used him to build His church, (Matthew 16:18.) Even though Paul, “formerly known as Saul,”persecuted Christians, (Acts 9: 4.) Jesus still loved him and used him as the greatest apostle to share the gospel to the Gentiles, kings and the nation of Israel, (Acts 9:15.) Jesus encouraged and used His disciples, even when they had stumbled, fallen and come against Him due to attacks from the devil. We believers are the body of Christ, in order for a body to work properly for the head, “which is Jesus;” we all have to work together as one, (1 Corinthians 12:12.) When one of our fellow believers are under attack, have stumbled, fallen or even worse they have found themselves being the attacker; our job is to lift them up. We are to love, encourage, pray and minister to them. We are never as children of God to ever side with the devil and attack other believers. The lost will know we are disciples of Christ, by the way we love others, NO MATTER WHAT! We are the hands and feet of Jesus not just to the lost, but as well to our fellow believers. When one has become discouraged, weary, fallen or is under attack, we are the hands and feet that are to aid them and lift then back up for our purpose in Christ.
Heavenly Father,I praise you for this message that you’ve laid on my heart today. All around me I have fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who need me there to lift them up when they have fallen, stumbled, grown weary and are under attack. Lord I pray to be your hands and feet to aid them in their time of need and not to judge, ridicule or stand beside the devil attacking them. Father I am a part of the body of Christ and I pray to lift my brothers and sisters up as they fall, in Jesus precious Holy name I pray Amen
