Walk The Talk; Glorify Jesus!

I have read this verse many times and it never really stood out to me, but today the Holy Spirit stop me in my tracks and highlighted it..”Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” No man can not keep the commandments, that is why Jesus is our Savior, but when we become new creatures in Christ our new mind set is to spread the Gospel and not want to sin anymore, ( 2 Corinthians 5:17) Of course we are still gonna have our sinful moments, that is why we come humbly to the foot of the cross and declare our inability without Jesus daily. This verse above speaks volume of the daily Christian life as we lead many; especially the lost who are watching us. If we are gonna take the Lords name CHRISTian, we better be walking the talk we are preaching daily not just to this lost world, but to our kids, church and before the great cloud of witnesses. I don’t know about you but I believe Jesus when He says, (you will be the least in the kingdom,) my goal is to be great and not for myself, but to glorify Jesus! We earn crowns in heaven as rewards for our service to Jesus while here on earth and they are not for our glory, they are for Jesus’ glory. Every thing we do, speak of and act upon reflects on Jesus..and He is not the least He is the GREATEST of ALL! If Jesus gave His all and best on the cross, we can give our all and best as believers for Christ glorifying His Holy name with our daily walk!
